GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -Despite a bitter end to the season, the Green Bay Packers appear to be headed in the right direction. But they have decisions to make in order to challenge for the Super Bowl next season.
Three days after an overtime playoff loss at Arizona, Packers coach Mike McCarthy says the team has a solid foundation but will need some tweaking to become a title contender.
McCarthy on Wednesday also didn’t rule out the possibility of changes to his coaching staff. And he acknowledged the uncertainty the team faces with some high-profile players who are scheduled to become free agents.
