INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -Indianapolis Colts receiver Pierre Garcon says he has not heard from many of his relatives in Haiti, one day after the Caribbean nation was devastated by an earthquake.

The second-year player was born in Carmel, N.Y., and attended high school in Florida. His parents emigrated to the U.S. from Haiti and most of his relatives still live there.
Garcon has been using his Twitter account to ask fans to help. At one point, he tweeted: “We need the US military as soon as possible n haiti We need the 4 million Haitian that live out side of haiti to Act now, we need da world!”
