FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -Tom Brady’s mistakes put the New England Patriots in a hole they couldn’t get out of.
Brady fumbled on the fourth play of the game, setting up a touchdown that gave Baltimore a 14-0 lead less than five minutes in. Brady added three interceptions – matching a career worst for the playoffs – and the Ravens coasted to a 33-14 victory in the first round of the AFC playoffs.
Brady was 23 for 42 for 154 yards and two touchdowns.
A perfect 8-0 in the regular season at Gillette Stadium, where Brady had never lost a playoff game, the Patriots heard the hometown fans booing just six minutes in as they fell behind 24-0 in the first quarter.
