NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Baltimore linebacker Terrell Suggs sprained his right shoulder sacking Tennessee quarterback Kerry Collins, and his return to their AFC divisional playoff game was questionable.
Suggs chased down Collins from behind and used his right arm to grab him while pushing him to the ground. Collins got up quickly, but Suggs lay on the ground for a couple minutes and needed help from trainers. He was able to get up and walk off the field while holding his right arm against his body.
The linebacker had four tackles in last week’s wild-card win at Miami, when he also forced a fumble.
Suggs wasn’t the only Baltimore player who needed treatment in the first half. Right tackle Willie Anderson went to the sideline with a stinger on the first play of the Ravens’ third possession but returned a drive later.
Pro Bowl fullback Le’Ron McClain hurt an ankle and limped off. But he returned.
