INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – Colts cornerback Kelvin Hayden is inactive for Saturday night’s playoff game against the New York Jets after being placed on injured reserve with a neck injury.
Hayden, who signed a five-year, $43 million deal in 2009, last played Nov. 28 against San Diego. Though he missed five games, he still ranked fourth on the team with 61 tackles. He had two interceptions.
Colts starting right tackle Ryan Diem also is inactive with a back injury.
Other inactive Colts include linebacker Clint Session (elbow), backup left guards Jamey Richard (concussion) and Jaimie Thomas (ankle/back) and defensive tackle Antonio Johnson (chest).
Former first-round draft pick Vernon Gholston was among the Jets’ inactive players. Right tackle Damien Woody, who missed the last three games with an injured right knee, was back and starting for New York.
