ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -Now the Dallas Cowboys have to figure out how to do it again.
A week after shutting out Philadelphia to clinch the NFC East title, the Cowboys (11-5) stay home for a Saturday night rematch against their division rival.
It’s the first playoff game in Jerry Jones’ new $1.2 billion showplace stadium. It’s also a chance to end a 13-year postseason winless drought that is the longest in team history.
Tight end Jason Witten says the Cowboys know what’s at stake and that this is when they “need to play big.”
The Cowboys won 24-0 over Philadelphia (11-5) last Sunday to sweep the regular-season series. Their season will be over if they don’t make it three wins over the Eagles in 10 weeks.
