CINCINNATI (AP) -The Bengals practiced in a steady snow Thursday, getting used to the wintry weather before they host the New York Jets in their wild-card playoff game.
The Bengals changed their schedule and moved up their practice at Paul Brown Stadium to try to get it in before the heaviest snow fell. Around 4 inches were expected in the Cincinnati area.
Offensive coordinator Bob Bratkowski wore shorts, as usual, on the 20-degree morning. Offensive lineman Dennis Roland also wore shorts and went sleeveless. The rest of the team was bundled up for the one-hour workout.
A front loader scraped snow off a tarp that still covered about one-third of the field.
Temperatures in the teens and a chance of flurries are forecast for the game on Saturday.
