IRVING, Texas (AP) -Dallas Cowboys right tackle Marc Colombo practiced Tuesday and could be back in the lineup for the playoffs after missing the last seven games of the regular season with a broken left leg.
Coach Wade Phillips says it seems as if Colombo will be able to play Saturday night against Philadelphia.
Phillips said Colombo, who broke his leg and sustained ligament damage in his ankle Nov. 15 at Green Bay, worked some with the first-team offense during practice. Colombo started 57 consecutive games before getting hurt.
Running back Tashard Choice, who sustained a concussion in Sunday’s regular-season-ending 24-0 victory over Philadelphia, was held out of practice and instead worked on the side with a team trainer.
Safety Pat Watkins, who missed the past three games with a sprained left knee, practiced. Phillips isn’t sure if he’ll play.
