ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -Dallas Cowboys running back Tashard Choice is feeling better after sustaining a concussion and could be available to play in Saturday night’s playoff game rematch against Philadelphia.
Coach Wade Phillips says Choice was feeling good after Sunday’s game, and was still feeling good Monday.
Phillips says Choice’s situation is different than when tight end Martellus Bennett had to be held out two games last month because of stricter NFL guidelines about concussions instituted this season.
“It’s a different classification than Martellus was,” Phillips said.
Choice, the team’s primary third-down back, left in the first quarter of Sunday’s 24-0 victory over the Eagles after taking a knee to his helmet. He didn’t have a carry in the game.
