GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -The Green Bay Packers put offensive lineman Junius Coston on injured reserve, ending his season, and signed tackle Orrin Thompson from the practice squad.
General manager Ted Thompson announced the moves Thursday after Coston sustained a calf injury in the Packers’ Dec. 30 game against Detroit. He had played in 13 games, including seven starts, during his third season with Green Bay.
Thompson, a rookie from Duke, spent four weeks on the Packers’ active roster earlier this season.
