Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams misses his second straight game Sunday with a sprained left ankle. Jonathan Stewart, who rushed for 206 yards last week, is active despite a sore left Achilles’ tendon.
Mark Brunell is the starting QB and rookie Chase Daniel the backup for the Saints, who have clinched the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
Defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis (knee), safety Darren Sharper (knee), tight end David Thomas (calf) and receiver Lance Moore (ankle) also aren’t dressed for the Saints.
Panthers backup running back Tyrell Sutton is inactive with a calf injury.
