NFL Season Win Totals

The 2009 NFL Season will be here before football fans know it and oddsmakers have released the season win total odds for all 32 teams.

Bet NFL Season Odds

Perhaps the most intriguing season odds of any of the 32 NFL teams is the defending Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers, who have been given an over/under total of 10.5, which seems rather low. The Steelers should once again have a dominant defense and as long as quarterback Ben Roethlisberger stays healthy, Pittsburgh should be able to lock in on 11 wins, especially since they play the Cincinnati Bengals (o/u 6.5) and Cleveland Browns (o/u 7) being in the same division.

Not surprisingly, the New England Patriots have been given a season win total of 11.5 games. With Tom Brady expected back to full health after missing virtually all of the 2008 season, the Pats are once again expected to run through the competition in the AFC and once again compete for a Super Bowl title.

The team that beat the Patriots in the 2008 Super Bowl, the New York Giants, have been given a season win total of 10 wins according to oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com. While 10 wins might be a low number for a team with the best season total odds in the NFC, remember that the G-Men play in the same division as the Philadelphia Eagles (o/u9.5), the Dallas Cowboys (o/u 9) and the Washington Redskins (o/u 8).

Some other quality teams with intriguing odds are the AFC East defending champion Miami Dolphins (o/u 7), the upstart Atlanta Falcons (o/u 8.5), and the now Jay Cutler-led Chicago Bears (o/u 8.5).
