NFL Playoff Passing Prop Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – Some of the league’s best quarterbacks will be in action this weekend for the NFL Playoffs. Which one will tally the most passing yards?
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Andrew Luck is favored to rack up the most passing yards, as he has 7/4 odds to do so. Ben Roethlisberger is next with 2/1 odds while Matthew Stafford has 4/1 odds and Tony Romo has 7/1 odds.
Obviously game scenarios and opponents play a role in how many yards a quarterback will have. Roethlisberger actually tied Drew Brees for the most yards in the NFL this season with 4,952. Luck was third with 4,761 yards. Luck will be facing the Bengals this weekend, a team that gives up 243 passing yards per game. Roethlisberger faces the Ravens, who are allowing 248.7 yards per game.
Stafford has short odds because Dallas ranks among the worst of the playoff teams in terms of passing defense, allowing 251.9 yards per game. Stafford has thrown for X yards this season. Joe Flacco faces Pittsburgh, which is allowing 253.1 yards per game in the air. He has 10/1 odds to win this stat and he threw for 3,986 yards this season. Cam Newton faces the Cardinals, who actually are the worst passing defense in the playoffs at 259.5 yards per game. Newton threw for 3,127 yards this season but missed time with injuries. He has 15/1, the longest odds, to win this prop bet.
