NFL Wild Card Playoff Odds

(The Spread) - The point spreads and over/under totals have been released for the Wild Card round of the 2012 NFL Playoffs. And there are a couple of surprises.

The action gets started at 4:30PM ET on Saturday when the Houston Texans host the Cincinnati Bengals in a rematch of last year's wild card playoffs. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the struggling Texans are currently 4.5-point favorites over the Bengals, while the over/under total is sitting at 43 points.

At 8:00PM ET on Saturday night, the Green Bay Packers will host the Minnesota Vikings in a rematch of Week 17's regular season finale. Despite losing the Vikings 30-27 to send Minnesota into the postseason, the Packers have opened as 9.5-point favorites, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 46 points.

On Sunday the Baltimore Ravens will host Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts at 1:00PM ET. The Ravens have opened as 6.5-point favorites versus the Colts, who ended the regular season on a high note by beating the Houston Texans in coach Chuck Pagano's return to the sidelines. The total for this wild card matchup is sitting at 46 points.

In the final wild card matchup of the weekend, RGIII and the Washington Redskins are 1-point home underdogs versus Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks, who have now won five straight games after beating the Rams 20-13 in Week 17. The matchup is unique considering it'll be a battle of rookie starting quarterbacks and it's a game that could go down to the wire.
