The Cowboys racked up 446 yards of offense in the loss, but the defense was thrashed by New Orleans, giving up 562 total yards. Tony Romo threw for 416 yards and four touchdowns in the loss, but the Cowboys had only 40 rushing yards as a team. The Cowboys lost, 38-31, at home to Washington back on Thanksgiving Day. WASHINGTON: The Redskins are coming off a 27-20 win at Philadelphia last week to win their sixth-straight game and take control of the NFC East. Unlike the Cowboys, the Redskins could still make the playoffs despite losing this game, but they would need a little help. In last week’s win over the Eagles, the Redskins were actually outgained 411-313, but the defense forced a pair of turnovers to help get the win. Robert Griffin III, who played on an injured knee, threw for 198 yards and two touchdowns on 16 of 24 passing. Griffin has thrown for 3,100 yards with 20 touchdowns and just five interceptions this season. He has also rushed for 752 yards and six scores.

ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book, Washington is the favorite at home, as the Redskins have odds of -3.5 points against the Cowboys. The over/under total for the game has been set at 49 points. Washington is 9-6 on the season, 4-3 at home and 10-5 against the spread. Dallas is 8-7 overall, 4-3 on the road and 6-9 against the spread.

TRENDS: The Redskins are 5-0 against the spread against Dallas in the last 5 meetings and the Cowboys are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 trips to Washington. However, the underdog has covered in 23 of the last 29 games in this series. These two teams have combined to hit the under in 4 of their last 6 meetings in Washington.
