GLENDALE, AZ (The Spread) – The Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers both have plenty on the line when the two meet up on Sunday at 4:25PM ET.

San Francisco is 11-4 overall, 5-2 on the road and 10-5 against the spread. Arizona is 10-5 overall, 6-1 at home and 11-4 against the spread. San Francisco has won eight of its last nine against Arizona, including a 32-20 win at home on Oct. 13.

Trends show that San Francisco is 8-2 against the spread in its last 10 meetings with the Cardinals and 6-1 ATS in its last 7 trips to Arizona.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, San Francisco is favored on the road, as the 49ers have odds of -1 points against the Cardinals. The over/under total for the game has been set at 42 points (View Matchup). The opening odds for this game were even, but the spread slowly worked its way to San Francisco -1. The over/under total opened at 43 points and slowly fell back to 42.

The 49ers are coming off a 34-24 win at home over the Falcons last Monday for their fifth straight win. San Francisco has a playoff spot locked up, but can earn the NFC West title with a win and a Seattle loss. San Francisco can also earn the top seed in the playoffs with a win and a loss from both Seattle and Carolina. The 49ers are averaging 320.3 yards per game on offense this season while the defense is allowing 305.9 yards per game. Colin Kaepernick has thrown for 2,887 yards and 19 touchdowns while rushing for 500 yards and four scores. Frank Gore has rushed for 1,114 yards and nine touchdowns as well, while NaVorro Bowman is leading the defense with 135 tackles, four sacks and one interception.

Arizona is coming off a 17-10 win over the Seahawks in Seattle. The Cardinals have now won seven of their last eight, but are still on the outside looking in for the playoffs. Arizona needs a win on Sunday and a loss from the Saints against Tampa Bay to make the playoffs. Arizona is averaging 337.3 yards per game on offense this year, while allowing just 313.6 yards per game. Carson Palmer has thrown for 3,867 yards and 22 touchdowns this season, but also has 21 interceptions. Larry Fitzgerald has added 76 receptions for 841 yards and 10 touchdowns. The defense is being led by Karlos Dansby, who has 117 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 4 interceptions and 18 pass deflections.

In terms of Injuries, Arizona guard Earl Watford (knee) and safety Rashad Johnson (ankle) are both questionable for the game. San Francisco receivers Jonathan Baldwin (shoulder) and Mario Manningham (illness) are both questionable as well.
