Ravens vs. Bengals Week 17 Odds
CINCINNATI, OH (The Spread) – AFC North rivals clash in Cincinnati on Sunday when the Bengals host the Ravens at 1:00PM ET. Let’s check out the odds for this weekend’s game.
BALTIMORE: The Ravens snapped their three-game losing streak with a 33-14 rout over the Giants in Week 16. Joe Flacco completed 25-of-36 for 309 yards with two touchdowns and zero interceptions, while Bernard Pierce rushed for 123 yards on 14 carries. Ray Rice also rushed for 107 yards on 24 carries and added six catches for 51 yards and a touchdown. Anquan Boldin led Baltimore in receiving yards with seven catches for 93 yards while Torrey Smith caught five passes for 88 yards and a touchdown. The win improved the Ravens’ record to 10-5 and 6-8-1 against the spread as they covered as a 1-point underdog. It was the first time Baltimore covered the spread in its last four games. The victory also allowed Baltimore to clinch the AFC North and with a win on Sunday the Ravens could secure the No. 3 seed in the AFC playoff picture. But more than likely the Ravens will be the fourth seed and will host the Indianapolis Colts next weekend.
CINCINNATI: With their 13-10 victory over the Steelers in Week 16, the Bengals clinched a playoff spot in the AFC. Andy Dalton completed 24-of-41 passes for 278 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions, while BenJarvus Green-Ellis rushed 15 times for 14 yards. A.J. Green racked up 116 yards receiving on 10 catches and Jermaine Gresham caught three passes for 38 yards. The win improved Cincinnati’s record to 9-6 overall and 8-6-1 against the spread as the team has now covered in six of its last seven games. The Bengals have secured the sixth seed in the AFC playoff picture and will travel to Houston, Denver, New England or Baltimore next weekend.
ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Bengals are 1-point favorites versus the Ravens while the over/under total is currently sitting at 41 points. Baltimore is 10-5 overall and 4-3 on the road, while Cincinnati is 9-6 overall and 3-4 at home.
TRENDS: The Ravens are 1-6 against the spread in their last seven games in December and 1-3-1 against the number versus a team with a winning record. The Bengals are also 4-0 against the spread in their last four games versus the AFC, 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall and 4-1-1 ATS in their last six games in December.
