Colts vs. Raiders Pick
Will Saturday’s matchup between the Colts and Raiders be high-scoring for bettors at 4:05PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Raiders are 3.5-point home favorites versus the Colts while the over/under currently sits at 53 points. While the point spread hasn’t moved since opening as 3.5, the total has jumped slightly from 52.5 up to 53 at the majority of sports books.
Andrew Luck was limited at Wednesday’s practice due to shoulder and thumb injuries. He was seen wearing a glove on his throwing hand during the practice but he should be good to go on Sunday when the Colts travel to Oakland. It would appear as though Luck will also have the services of receiver Donte Moncrief, who was limited at Wednesday’s practice as well. Moncreif is currently dealing with a hamstring injury.
The Raiders had a NFL-best seven players selected to the Pro Bowl earlier this week. Derek Carr, Amari Cooper, Khalil Mack, Rodney Hudson, Kelechi Osemele, Donald Penn and Reggie Nelson were the players selected. The Falcons led the way in the NFC with six players selected, including Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and Devonta Freeman.

OUR PREDICTION: The over has cashed in six of the Colts’ last seven road games and is 4-0 in their last four games after accumulating more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game. The over is also 19-6-2 in the Raiders’ last 27 home games, is 6-2 in their last eight games overall, and is 17-8-1 in their last 26 conference games. Between Luck and Carr, there’s too much offensive firepower in this matchup to take the under and hope they’re aren’t enough big plays to push the combined score over the betting total.
