Lions vs. Titans Week 15 Prediction
The Titans need a win over the Lions on Sunday to keep their goals of winning the AFC South alive. While winning the game outright shouldn’t be an issue, will Tennessee cover as a 9.5-point home favorite versus Detroit or is there a better play on the board?

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Matthew Stafford (ribs) is “preparing to start” Sunday against the Titans. Stafford looked on the wrong side of questionable before getting in a limited practice Friday. He travelled with the team to Tennessee and is now on track to start. The Titans have given up the sixth most points to opposing quarterbacks this year, but playing injured and without Kenny Golladay (hip), Stafford should still be avoided for the fantasy semifinals.

Ryan Tannehill completed 19-of-24 passes for 212 yards and two touchdowns in the Titans’ 31-10, Week 14 win over the Jaguars. An excellent day, though Tannehill was prevented from a ceiling effort by the Titans absolutely steamrolling Jacksonville on the ground. Derrick Henry’s 215 yards rushing were the second most of his career. The Titans were up 31-3 early in the third quarter and spent the second half messing around. Tannehill’s top play was a 37-yard touchdown strike to A.J. Brown on a flea flicker where the wideout made an over-the-shoulder, one-handed grab. Score No. 2 was a five-yarder to Geoff Swaim. Fantasy managers surely wanted more, but the efficiency on limited volume was more than enough to keep players in their quarterfinals matchup. Tannehill has another dream Week 15 spot in the Lions. He should get to attempt more passes in a game where the opposing team might actually score some points.
Lions vs. Titans Betting Prediction
The over is a perfect 4-0 in the Lions’ last four games coming off a loss, is 6-1 in their last seven games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous game and is 9-2 in their last 11 games after accumulating less than 90 yards rushing in their previous contest. Meanwhile, the over is 7-2 in the Titans’ last nine games played in the month of December is 16-5-1 in their last 22 games coming off a win and is 6-1-1 in their last eight home games.
