TENNESSEE: The Titans are now 5-9 on the season following a 14-10 win over the Jets on Monday Night Football. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Titans. Tennessee didn’t have much offense in the win, racking up just 294 total yards. But, what the Titans did well was force turnovers. The Jets turned the ball over five times to the Titans, including twice in the final few minutes of the game when the Jets were looking to get a game-winning touchdown. The bright spot of the win for the Titans’ offense was Chris Johnson, who rushed for 122 yards on 21 carries, including a 94-yard touchdown. It was Johnson’s first 100-yard game since a win at Miami on Nov. 11. Johnson has 1,159 yards and five touchdowns on the season.

GREEN BAY: The Packers locked up the NFC North last Sunday with a 21-13 win over the Bears in Chicago. Green Bay is ½ a game behind the 49ers for the No. 2 seed in the NFC right now. Green Bay has won three straight and seven of their last eight games coming into this contest with the Titans. In the win over Chicago, the Packers dominated on both sides of the ball, as they racked up 391 total yards while allowing just 190 yards to the Bears. Aaron Rodgers was back to his old self, throwing for 291 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. Defensively, Green Bay got a nice boost from the return of Clay Matthews, who had missed 4 games with an injury. Matthews had two of the team’s four sacks against the Bears.

ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Green Bay is the clear favorite at home, as the Packers have odds of -13 points against the Titans. The over/under total has been set at 46 points. Green Bay is 10-4 on the season, 6-1 at home and 8-6 against the spread. Tennessee is 5-9 on the season, 2-5 on the road and 5-9 against the spread.

TRENDS: Tennessee comes into this game at 1-5 against the spread in their last 6 games in December and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a cover. Green Bay has covered the spread in their last 4 games in December and in 21 of their last 29 games played on grass. The Packers have also hit the over in 16 of their last 22 home games.
