Packers vs. Lions Week 14 Prediction
NFC North rivals meet in Detroit on Sunday where the Lions will host Aaron Rodgers and the Packers at 4:25 p.m. ET. After upsetting the Bears last Sunday in Chicago, will the Lions at least cover versus their division rivals again this week?

Green Bay Packers DFS Spin
Aaron Rodgers completed 25-of-34 passes for 295 yards and three touchdowns in the Packers’ 30-16, Week 13 win over the Eagles. Rodgers reached 400 career passing touchdowns as the Packers sprinted to a 23-3 lead before briefly becoming embroiled in a close fourth quarter contest following an Eagles quarterback change. Rodgers found security blanket Davante Adams for one- and nine-yard scores and big-play TE Robert Tonyan for a 25-yard strike. He could have had an even bigger statistical day, but Marquez Valdes-Scantling dropped another 60ish-yard gain. Allen Lazard also committed a (short) drop. Things continued to look too easy for Rodgers, who had no fear going Adams’ way even with Darius Slay draped all over him. Dismantling every team in his path, Rodgers has a hysterically soft Week 14 matchup in the Lions.
Detroit Lions DFS Spin
Matthew Stafford completed 27-of-42 passes for 402 yards with three touchdowns and an interception in the Lions’ Week 13 win over Chicago. The Lions rallied late in the fourth quarter to get their first win under interim coach Darrell Bevell. It’s the first 400-yard game of the season for Stafford, who had a 55.2 QBR the last two weeks. Stafford hit Quintez Cephus and Marvin Jones for deep shots on two of his touchdowns, with his other one coming on a red-zone throw to Jesse James. It’s a needed turnaround for a team that just fired their coach and GM. Kenny Golladay (hip) worked out on the field ahead of Sunday’s game, giving Stafford a chance to get his No. 1 receiver back for a potential Week 14 shootout with the Packers.
Packers vs. Lions Week 14 Prediction
The Packers are just 1-6 against the spread in their last seven meetings with the Lions and have failed to cover in five of their last seven trips to Ford Field. Green Bay is also just 1-4 against the number in its last five games coming off a win. While the Pack should get another victory and stay in the mix for the top seed in the NFC, this is too many points to lay in a divisional game where the home team is catching over a touchdown. The Lions have seemingly received a boost from the firing of Matt Patricia, so I expect them to hang today versus the Packers.
