Browns vs. Bills Free Pick
BUFFALO, NY (TheSpread) – The Cleveland Browns are clinging onto their fleeting playoff hopes and they’ll need to beat the Buffalo Bills on Sunday to stay alive in the AFC. Continue reading for our picks, odds and more on this Week 14 matchup.
According to NFL Week 14 odds and oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com, the Bills are 1-point favorites over the Browns on Sunday. The over/under total for this game is currently 39.5 points.
The Browns improved to 5-7 with their victory over the Dolphins last Sunday and are now 5-7 against the spread. They’re 2-4 on the road this year and are just 3-3 against the number away from Cleveland.
The Bills fell to 2-10 last week after the Vikings blew them out but are still 6-5-1 against the spread according to latest NFL trends. They’re 1-4 at home this season, however, and are 2-3 against the spread at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
NFL Week 14 Pick:
We’re highly aware of the trap but we don’t care. The Bills are trending downward again after playing competitive for nearly a month. They were waxed by the Vikings last Sunday in Minnesota and Ryan Fitzpatrick can’t stop turning the ball over. Despite their record, the Browns have been a solid football team for most of the season and while Jake Delhomme scares us, Cleveland should keep the ball in Peyton Hillis’ hands and allow the bruiser to wear down Buffalo’s soft front seven. The Browns are 5-1 against the spread versus a team with a losing record and 5-0 ATS in their last five games in December. The Bills, meanwhile, are 5-13-1 ATS in their last 19 home games and 1-5 ATS in their last six December games. Our pick is the Browns +1.
