NEW YORK: The Jets are coming off a 7-6 win over Arizona at home last week. It marks the third time in five games that the Jets have been held under 10 points in a game. In last week’s win the Jets were held under 300 yards of offense and coach Rob Ryan was forced to pull Mark Sanchez from the game and insert Greg McElroy. Sanchez was just 10 of 21 passing for 97 yards and three interceptions. McElroy was able to lead the Jets on their lone touchdown drive. Despite his struggled, Ryan has elected to go with Sanchez as the starting QB in this game as well. One area the Jets were strong in last week was defense, as they allowed only 137 yards from the Cardinals.
JACKSONVILLE: The Jaguars are coming off a 34-18 loss at Buffalo last week. Jacksonville has dropped 8 of its last 9 games coming into this game with the Jets. In the loss, the Jaguars were held to just 236 yards of offense. On the season, Henne has appeared in five games and thrown for 1,032 yards with 8 touchdowns and just 3 interceptions. Defensively, the Jaguars allowed the Bills to rush for 232 yards.
