Browns vs. Dolphins Free Pick
The Miami Dolphins’ margin for error is slim to make the playoffs. After soundly beating the Raiders last Sunday in Oakland, the Fish return home this weekend to host a Cleveland Browns team that has proven to be a bit of a pest to playoff contenders this season.
According to NFL Week 13 odds and oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com, the Dolphins are 4.5-point favorites over the Browns on Sunday. The over/under total for this game is currently 43 points.
The Browns come into this game with a 4-7 record and have failed to cover in seven of their 11 games this year according to latest NFL trends. They’re just 1-4 on the road this season and have failed to cover in three of those five games.
After beating the Raiders last weekend, the Dolphins improved to 6-5 overall and have now covered the spread in seven of their 11 games this season. They’re just 1-4 at home, however, and have failed to cover in three of their five games at Sun Life Stadium.
NFL Week 13 Free Pick:
Neither of these teams seem explosive and for the most part, they’re not. But both have proven that they can put points on the board and that’s why we see a lot of value in the over. Brandon Marshall is expected back this week from an injury that held him out of last week’s game against the Raiders. Chad Henne now gets his best receiver back, which is key because Cleveland can be very good against the pass. Colt McCoy is not expected to play, which means Jake Delhomme will make his second straight start. That’s good for the over because Delhomme loves to turn the ball over and set the opposing defense up in great field position. The over is 6-0 in the Browns’ last six games overall and 4-0 in their last four road games. Our pick is the over 43.
