Arizona a NFC West power
The Arizona Cardinals have firm control of the NFC West and they are looking to improve on their division odds today when they face the San Francisco 49ers.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie.ag, the Cardinals are a heavy favorite on the road today, as they are getting odds of -10.5 points against the 49ers. The over/under total for the game has been set at 44.5 points. These two meet up on Sunday at 4:05PM ET on FOX.
Arizona comes into this game at 8-2 on the year and 6-4 against the spread. They own a three-game lead in the NFC West and already have a win at Seattle. Oddsmakers are clearly feeling like the Cardinals won’t let the division title slip away, as they currently have odds of -2000 to win the title with six games remaining.
Today Arizona faces a San Francisco team that is 3-7 overall and 4-6 against the spread. However, the 49ers are 3-2 at home in 2015. Despite that, San Francisco seems outmatched on both sides of the ball. The 49ers rank last in the NFL in scoring (13.9 ppg) and total offense (288.2 ypg) and they rank 23rd in defensive scoring (25.2 ppg) and total defense (404) ypg. That’s not a good recipe against an Arizona team that leads the league in scoring (33.6 ppg) and total offense (417.3 ypg) while ranking fourth in fewest points allowed defensively (322.2 ypg).
