Oddsmakers from online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL have made Colts a 1-point favorite at home against the Chargers on Sunday. The over/under total has been set at 50.5. (View Matchup)

Opening odds had Indianapolis favored by 3 points, which held most of the week before quickly dropping to 1 point toward the end of the week. The over/under total opened at 51.5 points and fell back to 50.5 to close out.

The Colts are coming off a 31-28 loss at New England last week. The Colts have been perfect at home despite their road struggles as they have scored at least 23 points in all but one home game this year. The Colts average 26.8 points per game offensively, led by Peyton Manning, who has thrown for 3,059 yards and 20 touchdowns. The Indianapolis defense is allowing 21.6 points per game but allowing just 207.7 passing yards per contest.

San Diego has won three straight to get to 5-5, but they have just one win on the road this season. The Chargers have one of the top offenses in the league, as they average 418 yards per game. Philip Rivers leads the league in passing with 3,177 yards and 23 touchdowns. The defense is giving up 21.1 points per game but are allowing just 270.7 yards per game, including only 183.9 passing yards per contest.

In terms of injuries, San Diego tight end Antonio Gates is questionable to play because of a foot injury while receivers Malcom Floyd and Legedu Naanee are both probable to play. Vincent Jackson is also expected to make his season debut for the Chargers today. For Indy, Colts receiver Reggie Wayne is questionable with a knee injury while Joseph Addai is questionable with a shoulder injury.

Over 63,000 public bets have been placed on this game and Indianapolis is getting 53% of the wagers at -1 against San Diego.
