Opening odds had Philadelphia favored by 3.5 points and that spread only fell to 3 points recently. The over/under total opened at 41.5 points and has since added a point to get to 42.5.
The Eagles have won three straight behind the play of Michael Vick, who has won every game he has started and finished. Vick has emerged as a MVP candidate as he has thrown for 1,608 yards and 11 touchdowns without a single interception. He has also rushed for 375 yards and five touchdowns. Vick has helped the offense average 28.4 points per game this season while the Philadelphia defense is holding opponents to 22.6 points per game.
Chicago has quietly won three straight games to get to 7-3 on the year and remain atop the NFC North standings. The Bears have given up just 32 points over the last three weeks and on the season they are giving up just 14.6 points per game and 290.4 yards per game. On offense, Chicago has struggled, averaging just 294 yards and 19.1 points per game. Jay Cutler has thrown for 2,064 yards and 12 touchdowns on the year, but has 10 interceptions as well.
In terms of injuries, Philadelphia cornerback Asante Samuel will miss the game because of a knee injury while Chicago tight end Desmond Clark is questionable with a neck injury.
