Miami has alternated wins and losses over the last six weeks. The Dolphins are coming off a 16-0 loss to Chicago. The Dolphins are struggling due to injuries on the offense as the team has been without quarterback Chad Henne and receiver Brandon Marshall. The offense is averaging just 17.2 points per game offensively and the rushing attack is averaging just 97.9 yards per game on the ground.
Oakland is coming off a 35-3 loss to Pittsburgh last week, which ended a three-game winning streak. The boost in the Raiders play as of late has come thanks to the emergence of running back Darren McFadden. McFadden has rushed for 771 yards and four touchdowns on the year. The offense as a whole is averaging 23.8 points per game and 343 yards per game on the season while the defense is holding opponents to 321.7 yards and 22.3 points per game.
In terms of injuries, Miami receiver Brandon Marshall is out for Sunday due to a hamstring injury while tackle Jake Long is questionable with a shoulder injury. Oakland receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey is listed as probable with a hamstring injury.
