Dolphins vs. Browns Week 12 Prediction
After the number hit the board at 44.5, the total for Sunday’s matchup between the Dolphins and Browns has climbed to 45.5. Is the over the best bet for bettors given the struggles defensively of Miami?

Miami Dolphins Fantasy Spin
Dolphins coach Brian Flores confirmed Ryan Fitzpatrick (shoulder, forearm) will play Week 12 against the Browns. Fitzpatrick hasn’t seen his usual practice reps this week while battling shoulder and forearm injuries, though his status for Week 12 was never in doubt. Even coming off a 300-yard effort against Buffalo in Week 11, Fitzpatrick won’t be a recommended streamer against Cleveland. The well-traveled veteran turns 37 Sunday.
Cleveland Browns Fantasy Spin
Odell Beckham caught 4-of-10 targets for 60 yards in the Browns’ Week 11 win over the Steelers. Beckham came out blazing hot on the Browns’ opening drive, catching two passes for 49 yards. His second reception appeared to be a 43-yard touchdown, but replay ruled him down at the one-yard line. It would be a costly overturn for fantasy players, as Beckham somehow gained only 11 more yards all evening. An inaccurate Baker Mayfield could not connect with his No. 1 wideout. Beckham has 22 targets over his past two games but just 117 yards to show for it. He will maintain blow-up potential for Week 12 vs. the Dolphins.
NFL Betting Trends
Miami
The under is 4-0 in the Dolphins’ last four games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game.
Cleveland
The under is 15-5-1 in the Browns’ last 21 home games versus an opponent with a losing road record.
Prediction
While the Dolphins have struggled defensively, I don’t trust their offense to score much on the road. They got a couple of big plays out of Jakeem Grant, including his record-breaking 101-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. With a duplicate performance out of Grant, I see Miami struggling to reach pay dirt. The under is 5-2 in the last seven meetings between these two teams, is 18-7-1 in the Browns’ last 26 home games and has cashed in nine of the Dolphins’ last 13 road contests.
NFL Week 12 Prediction: Dolphins/Browns UNDER 45.5
