WASHINGTON: The Redskins snapped a three-game losing streak with a 31-6 beat down of the Eagles last Sunday in Washington. Rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III completed 14-of-15 passes for 200 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions, while also rushing for 84 yards on 12 carries. Santana Moss, Aldrick Robinson, Logan Paulsen and Darrel Young each caught one touchdown apiece while the Redskins defense intercepted Philadelphia quarterback Nick Foles twice. The victory ran Washington’s record to 4-6 and 5-5 against the spread, as the Skins covered the number for the first time in three weeks. If Mike Shanahan’s team wants to make the playoffs, they’ll likely have to win out.

DALLAS: The Cowboys survived the Browns with a 23-20 victory in overtime last Sunday in Dallas. It was their second consecutive win and their third victory in their last five games. Tony Romo completed 35-of-50 games for 313 yards with one touchdown, while Dez Bryant caught 12 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown. The win improved Dallas’ record to 5-5 but the ‘Boys failed to cover as a 7-point favorite, leaving their record against the spread at 4-6. With the Giants struggling, the Cowboys still have a chance to catch New York and win the NFC East. But they need to play with more consistency from here on out.

ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Cowboys are 3.5-point favorites versus the Redskins, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 48 points. Washington is 4-6 overall and 2-3 on the road, while Dallas is 5-5 overall and 2-2 at home.

TRENDS: The Redskins are 4-0 against the spread in their last four games versus the Cowboys and 5-0 ATS in their last five games in Dallas. The road team is also 6-2 against the number in the last eight meetings between these two teams while the underdog is 22-6 ATS in their last 28 meetings. The under is 5-2 in the last seven meetings between these two teams.
