Bills vs. Colts Week 12 Odds
INDIANAPOLIS, IN (The Spread) – With their playoff lives hanging in the balance, the Colts will host the Bills at 1:00PM ET on Sunday.
BUFFALO: The Bills snapped a three-game losing streak with a 19-14 victory over the Dolphins last Thursday night. It was the first time Buffalo had won since beating Arizona on October 14, as the Bills erased losses to the Titans (35-34), the Texans (21-9), and the Patriots (37-31). Buffalo has now covered in back-to-back games after losing to the Patriots 37-31 as a 13.5-point underdog and beating Miami 19-14 as a 1-point home favorite. The win lifted Buffalo’s record to 4-6 overall and 5-5 against the spread but the playoffs remain a long shot.
INDIANAPOLIS: The Patriots snapped the Colts four-game winning streak with a 59-24 win over Indianapolis last Sunday. Andrew Luck completed 27-of-50 passes for 334 yards with two touchdowns but also three interceptions. T.Y. Hilton also caught six passes for 100 yards with two touchdowns, while Reggie Wayne hauled in seven passes for 72 yards. The loss dropped Indy to 6-4 overall and 6-4 against the spread as it failed to cover as a 10-point underdog. If the playoffs were to start today, the Colts would own one of the two wild card spots but with the Steelers and Bengals also in the mix, Indy needs to keep winning.
ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Colts are 3-point favorites over the Bills, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 52 points. Buffalo is 4-6 overall and 2-4 on the road, while Indianapolis is 6-4 overall and 4-1 at home.
TRENDS: The Bills are 4-0 against the spread in their last four games in Week 12 and 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 games following an ATS win. The Colts are also 6-1 against the number in their last seven home games and 4-1 ATS in their last five games versus the AFC.
