BALTIMORE, MD (The Spread) – The Baltimore Ravens could use a win at home when they host the streaky New York Jets on Sunday at 1PM ET on CBS.

New York is 5-5 this season, 1-4 on the road and 6-4 against the spread. Baltimore is 4-6 overall, 3-1 at home and 5-5 against the spread. Baltimore has won seven straight over New York.

Trends show that the Jaguars are 1-3-1 against the spread in their last 5 against the Texans and 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 trips to Houston. Houston has hit the over in 5 straight home games.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, the Ravens are favored on the road, as Baltimore has odds of -4 points against the Jets. The over/under total for the game has been set at 40 points (View Matchup). The opening odds for this game had Baltimore favored by 3.5 points. The spread quickly jumped up to 4 points. The over/under total hasn’t changed since opening at 40 points.

Baltimore is coming off a 23-20 overtime loss to Chicago last week. The Ravens have now lost four of their last five, with their last seven games being decided by six points or less. Baltimore is averaging just 308.5 yards per game on offense while the defense is giving up 339.9 yards per game. Quarterback Joe Flacco has thrown for 2,469 yards and 13 touchdowns, but has 13 interceptions. Torrey Smith has caught 46 passes for 785 yards and three scores while Terrell Suggs has 65 tackles with nine sacks to lead the defense.

New York is coming off an embarrassing 37-14 loss at Buffalo last week. The Jets have alternated wins and losses all season, not establishing any kind of winning or losing streak. New York is giving up only 324 yards per game on defense, but the offense is posting just 324.8 yards per game. Geno Smith has thrown for 2,100 yards and eight touchdowns, but has 16 interceptions and a fumble lost. The defense is being led by Muhammad Wilkerson, who has 40 tackles with eight sacks and one interception.

In terms of Injuries, Baltimore defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (knee) and receiver Marlon Brown (knee) are both questionable for this game. New York running back Alex Green (hamstring) and receiver Jeremy Kerley (elbow) are both questionable as well.
