NFL Week 11 Injury Report
The NFL Injury Report continued to grow as Week 11 approached and now some big names are expected to miss today’s action. Here’s the latest injury news for this weekend.
Flacco doubtful
The Baltimore Ravens are expecting to see rookie QB Lamar Jackson make his first start, as veteran QB Joe Flacco is doubtful to suit up today due to a hip injury. According to oddsmakers at BetNow.eu, the Ravens are a 5.5-point favorite at home against the Cincinnati Bengals today at 1PM ET. Flacco has thrown for 2,465 yards and 12 touchdowns to lead the offense this year. Jackson has been used in some packages this year and has thrown for 87 yards on 7 of 12 passing while rushing for 139 yards and a score.
Jones out for Lions
The Detroit Lions have been struggling on offense in recent weeks and things may not get better today as they host the Carolina Panthers at 1PM ET. The Lions will be without receiver Marvin Jones Jr., who is out today due to a knee injury. Oddsmakers are listing the Panthers as a 4-point favorite on the road against the Lions today. Jones has 35 catches for 508 yards and five touchdowns this year. He has the most touchdown catches of anyone on the Detroit roster this season. With Jones gone and Golden Tate traded, the Lions have just one listed receiver with over 100 yards playing today, Kenny Golladay.
Bell not playing in 2018
Not much of an injury per say, but the Pittsburgh Steelers found out this week that running back Le’Veon Bell will not be joining them at all this year. Tuesday was his deadline to report to the team is he was going to play at all this year and he did not show up for the team. The Steelers are going on the road this week to face the Jacksonville Jaguars at 1PM ET. The Steelers are listed as a 5-point favorite on the road. Pittsburgh got a scare when James Conner suffered a concussion last week, but he was able to practice this week and will play today. Conner has 771 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns this season while also catching 39 passes for 387 yards and a score in place of Bell.
