Jaguars vs. Steelers Spread Prediction
The Jacksonville Jaguars ended the Pittsburgh Steelers’ season last year in the playoffs but find themselves as nearly a touchdown-sized underdog at home on Sunday. Will the Steelers get their revenge?
Game Snapshot
471 Pittsburgh Steelers at 472 Jacksonville Jaguars

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Steelers are 5.5-point favorites to beat the Jaguars. The total, meanwhile, sits at 46.5 points. As of this writing, 69% of the public betting tickets are on the Steelers to cover the point spread.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Updating an earlier report, James Conner (concussion) was a full participant at Wednesday’s practice. It’s unclear if Conner ever actually suffered a concussion, though it’s a moot point now as the second-year stud is on track to play Sunday at Jacksonville. With Le’Veon Bell done in Pittsburgh, Conner should be an RB1 the rest of the way.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Jaguars CB A.J. Bouye (calf) is practicing Thursday. It is his second session in a row after getting in limited work on Wednesday. Sidelined since Week 7, Bouye looks like he will return this week. It is great news for the Jaguars with the Steelers coming to town.
NFL Betting Trends
Pittsburgh
The Steelers are 5-0 against the spread in their last five games overall and are 4-1 against the number in their last five road games.
Jacksonville
The Jaguars are 0-3-1 against the spread in their last four games coming off a loss.
Prediction
There’s some value in taking a home underdog that beat this same opponent twice a year ago (both times as underdogs as well), but the Jaguars aren’t very good. Pittsburgh’s pass rush has been outstanding since starting the season slow and if the Steelers can harass Blake Bortles it’ll be a wrap. Of course, they need to slow Leonard Fournette, who reached the end zone a couple of times a week ago in the Jags’ loss to the Colts. I expect Pittsburgh’s best effort on Sunday and will lay the points.
NFL Week 11 Prediction: Pittsburgh Steelers -5.5
