Vikings vs. Bears Odds
Two old rivals from the NFC North meet in Week 10 of the NFL Season as the Chicago Bears host the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
The Bears are 5-3 on the year and leading the division while the Vikings are 3-5. Chicago is 2-2 at home this season while the Vikings are 0-4 on the road. The Vikings are just 1-6 against the spread in their last seven games in Chicago while the over has hit in the last four games in this series played at Solider Field.
Oddsmakers from BroburySports.com have made Minnesota a 1-point favorite at Chicago on Sunday. The over/under has been set at 40.5.
Opening odds had the Bears favored by 1 points but that quickly jumped to Minnesota -1 and hasn’t changed since. The over/under total opened at 39 but has since slowly climbed up to 40.5.
Chicago has won just two of its last five after a 22-19 victory at Buffalo last Sunday. The Bears have had four of their five wins decided by seven points or less. Jay Cutler has thrown for 1,671 yards and nine touchdowns this year while Matt Forte has just 401 rushing yards and three scores. The defense has carried the Bears this year and leading the unit is Brian Urlacher, who has 55 tackles and two sacks. D.J. Moore has added three interceptions and 20 tackles.
Minnesota is coming off a 27-14 win over Arizona last week. The Vikings were down 14 points toward the end of the game but came back to win in overtime. Minnesota has had its last two wins decided by three points. Brett Favre has thrown for 1,896 yards and nine touchdowns with 13 interceptions on the season while Adrian Peterson has 857 rushing yards and seven scores. Percy Harvin has added 519 receiving yards with three scores. Chad Greenway has 83 tackles to lead the defense while Jared Allen and Ray Edwards each have four sacks.
Harvin is listed as probable for the game but has been battling migraine headaches all week. Chicago tight end Desmond Clark is listed as questionable with a neck injury.
