Bengals vs. Colts Odds
The Indianapolis Colts look to remain undefeated at home on Sunday when they host the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 10 of the 2010-11 NFL Season.
The Colts are 5-3 on the season and 3-0 at home while the Bengals are 2-6 on the year and 1-3 on the road. The Favorite (Colts) are 6-1 against the spread in their last seven meetings with Cincinnati while the Bengals are just 1-5 ATS in their last six games with the Colts.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made Indianapolis a 7-point favorite at home against the Bengals on Sunday. The over/under total has been set at 47.5.
Opening odds had Indianapolis favored by 8 points and that total has slowly worked its way down to 7 points. The over/under opened at 47.5 where it closed, but it was down to 47 during the week.
The Colts are coming off a 26-24 loss on the road to Philadelphia, but at home, the Colts have won each game by at least 10 points. Peyton Manning has thrown for 2,478 yards and 16 touchdowns on the season while Reggie Wayne has caught 60 passes for 724 yards and three touchdowns.
The Bengals have lost five straight games, all of which were by eight points or less. Last week, the Bengals lost 27-21 to Pittsburgh. Carson Palmer has thrown for 2,103 yards and 14 touchdowns on the year while Cedric Benson has added 599 yards rushing with three touchdowns. Terrell Owens has 55 receptions for 770 yards and seven touchdowns while the defense has been led by Leon Hall, who has four interceptions and seven pass deflections.
Indianapolis receiver Austin Collie is out for Sunday’s game because of a concussion suffered in last week’s game while running back Joseph Addai is expected to miss another game due to a shoulder injury. Cincinnati linebackers Keith Rivers and Rey Maualuga are both questionable for the game due to injury.
Over 16,000 public bets have been placed on Sunday’s game and the Colts are getting 67% of the wagers at -7 against the Bengals.
