Andre Johnson also caught eight passes for 118 yards and Owen Daniels caught four passes for 62 yards and one score. The win lifted the Texans’ record to 7-1 on the year and 6-2 against the spread.
CHICAGO: The Bears have now won six straight after losing to the Packers 23-10 in Week 2 of the season. Their latest win came in a 51-20 rout of the Titans in Tennessee as week as a 4.5-point favorite. It was the first time the Bears covered in the past three games as Jay Cutler completed 19-of-26 passes for 229 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. Matt Forte also rushed 12 times for 103 yards and a touchdown, while Brandon Marshall lit Tennessee for nine catches for 122 yards and three touchdowns. The win was the Bears’ seventh of the season and it was the fifth time they covered the spread in their first eight games.
ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Bears are 1-point favorites over the Texans, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 41 points. Houston is 7-1 on the year and 3-0 on the road, while Chicago is 7-1 overall and 4-0 at home.
TRENDS: The Texans are 6-0-1 against the spread versus a team with a winning record and 6-0 ATS in their last six games in November.
