DENVER: The Broncos have covered in three straight games and in four of their last five contests. After failing to cover as a 5.5-point underdog in a 31-21 loss to the Patriots in New England in early October, they covered as a 1-point underdog in a 35-24 win over the Chargers on Monday Night Football, and then covered as a 6-point favorite in a 34-14 win over the Saints on Sunday Night Football. Last weekend, they covered as a 5-point favorite in a 31-23 win over the Bengals as Peyton Manning completed 27-of-35 passes for 291 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions.

CAROLINA: The Panthers have covered the number in back-to-back games after going two straight contests while failing to cover the spread. Although they lost to the Bears 23-22 in Week 8, they covered as an 8.5-point road underdog and last week they covered as a 3-point underdog in a 21-13 win over the Redskins. Cam Newton completed just 13-of-23 passes for 201 yards and one touchdown, but he didn’t throw an interception and also rushed for a score. The Panthers are now 2-6 overall and 4-4 against the spread.

ODDS: Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed the Broncos as a 3.5-point favorite over the Panthers, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 47.5 points. Denver enters the game with a 5-3 overall record and is 2-2 on the road, while Carolina is 2-6 overall and 1-3 at home.

TRENDS: The Broncos are 5-0 against the spread in their last five games in November and 4-1 ATS in their last five games in Week 10. The Panthers, meanwhile, are 2-6 against the number in their last 8 home games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games following an ATS win.
