Oddsmakers from online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL have made the Ravens a 5-point favorite at home against the Dolphins while the over/under total has been set at 40.5.
The opening spread had Baltimore favored by 5.5 and the hook has been dropped since, moving down to 5. The over/under point total opened at 40.5 and hasn’t changed throughout the week.
Miami is coming off a 22-14 win at Cincinnati last week. The Dolphins have scored either 22 or 23 points in their last three games and are holding opponents to 13.5 points per game when playing on the road. Chad Henne has thrown for 1,669 yards and eight touchdowns this season while Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown have combined for over 700 rushing yards. Brandon Marshall has added 588 receiving yards and a score. Yeremiah Bell is leading the Miami defense with 55 tackles while Jason Allen has three interceptions and Cameron Wake has seven sacks.
The Ravens are coming off a bye following a 37-34 win over Buffalo the week prior. The Ravens have scored at least 24 points in each game at home this season but are giving up 22.6 points per game at home as well. Joe Flacco has thrown for 1,651 yards and 10 touchdowns this season while Ray Rice has rushed for 523 yards and two scores. Anquan Bolding has 518 receiving yards and five touchdowns while Ray Lewis is leading the defense with 60 tackles and two sacks.
Miami linebacker Channing Crowder is questionable for Sunday’s game with a thumb injury while Bell is questionable with a toe injury. Baltimore safety Tom Zbikowski has been ruled out of the game with an ankle injury.
