Minnesota Vikings DFS Spin
Vikings RB Dalvin Cook (groin) is questionable for Week 8 against the Packers. Cook will suit up Sunday against Green Bay. Head coach Mike Zimmer said Cook would not have restrictions on playing time this week after he missed the team’s Week 6 game against Atlanta. Cook, getting the Vikings’ bye week to recover from the groin injury he suffered in Week 5, should be locked into fantasy lineups this week.
Green Bay Packers DFS Spin
Packers RB Aaron Jones (calf) is out for Week 8 against Minnesota. Jones missed practice all week. Jamaal Williams is in line for another week of workhorse opportunity after seeing 19 carries and five targets last week against the Texans. Williams would be locked in as a solid RB2. AJ Dillon, who played 14 snaps and had five rushes last week against Houston, should remain on fantasy benches.
Vikings vs. Packers Betting Prediction
The Vikings have failed to cover in four of the last five games in this series and are just 3-8 at the betting window in their last 11 trips to Lambeau Field. Minnesota is also 7-15 against the spread in its last 22 games against teams with winning record and is 2-5 against the number in its last seven games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in its previous contest. The Packers, meanwhile, are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games overall, are 4-1 against the number in their last five games as a favorite and have covered four of their last five divisional games as well.
