BUFFALO, NY (The Spread) – The Kansas City Chiefs look to keep its unbeaten record alive on Sunday when they hit the road to face the Buffalo Bills at 1PM ET on CBS.

Kansas City is 8-0 overall, 3-0 on the road and 5-3 against the spread. Buffalo is 3-5 overall, 2-2 at home and 5-3 against the spread. Buffalo has won five of its last six meetings with Kansas City.

Trends show that the Bills have covered the spread in six straight meetings with the Chiefs and the two have hit the under in 8 of their last 11 meetings.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Kansas City is the favorite on the road, as the Chiefs have odds of -3 points against the Bills. The over/under total for the game has been set at 40 points (View Matchup). The opening odds for the game had the Chiefs favored by 3.5 points. The spread quickly dipped to 3 points. The over/under total for the game opened at 41 points. The spread slowly made its way down to 40.

Kansas City improved to 8-0 last week with a 23-17 win over Cleveland. The Chiefs have had their last two wins come by one score. The Chiefs are only averaging 330.8 yards per game on offense, but the defense is holding opponents to just 309.1 yards per game. The defense also has 36 sacks and 20 turnovers. Justin Houston is leading the unit with 11 sacks. Jamaal Charles is leading the offense with 635 rushing yards and six touchdowns while catching 41 passes for 383 yards and two scores.

Buffalo is coming off a 35-17 loss at New Orleans last week. The Bills have lost three of their last four and have had six games decided by a touchdown or less. Buffalo is only posting 329 yards of offense per game, while the defense is giving up 381.2 yards per game. Thad Lewis has thrown for 652 yards and three touchdowns in limited starts at quarterback while Fred Jackson has led the offense with 425 rushing yards and six scores.

In terms of Injuries, Buffalo running back C.J. Spiller (ankle) and receiver Stevie Johnson (groin) are both questionable to play. Kansas City defensive back Sanders Cummings (collarbone) and linebacker Dezman Moses (toe) are also questionable.
