The Packers improved to 5-3 on the season with a 24-15 victory over the Jaguars last Sunday in Green Bay. The win was their third in as many weeks although they failed to cover as a 16-point favorite. In the victory Aaron Rodgers threw for 186 yards with two touchdowns, while James Jones caught seven passes for 78 yards and Randall Cobb caught a touchdown pass.

The Cardinals, meanwhile, are heading in the opposite direction. After starting the season 4-0 they’re now 4-4 on the year after their embarrassing 24-3 loss to the 49ers on Monday Night Football. John Skelton threw for 290 yards but he was intercepted once and Arizona’s offense never established a rhythm. The Cardinals failed to cover the spread for the fifth straight week, although they did push with the Vikings in Minnesota last Sunday. Arizona is now 3-4-1 against the spread this season.
