Cardinals vs. Packers Week 9 Odds
The Packers improved to 5-3 on the season with a 24-15 victory over the Jaguars last Sunday in Green Bay. The win was their third in as many weeks although they failed to cover as a 16-point favorite. It was the first time they failed to cover the digit sine a 30-27 loss as a 6.5-point favorite versus the Colts in Week 6. In the victory Aaron Rodgers threw for 186 yards with two touchdowns, while James Jones caught seven passes for 78 yards and Randall Cobb caught a touchdown pass.
The Cardinals, meanwhile, are heading in the opposite direction. After starting the season 4-0 they’re now 4-4 on the year after their embarrassing 24-3 loss to the 49ers on Monday Night Football. John Skelton threw for 290 yards but he was intercepted once and Arizona’s offense never established a rhythm. The Cardinals failed to cover the spread for the fifth straight week, although they did push with the Vikings in Minnesota last Sunday. Arizona is now 3-4-1 against the spread this season.
