The over/under total opened at 43 points and simply added the hook.

The Panthers are coming off a 31-13 win at Tampa Bay last Thursday. It was the third straight win for Carolina, with the Panthers scoring at least 30 points in each of the three games. Carolina is posting only 327 yards per game offensively, but the defense is holding opponents to just 301.4 yards per game. The defense is being led by Mike Mitchell, who has three interceptions and two sacks. Cam Newton is leading the offense with 1,552 passing yards and 12 scores while rushing for 229 yards.

Atlanta is coming off a 27-13 loss at Arizona last week. The Falcons have now lost four of their last five and dealing with a lot of injuries, especially on offense. Atlanta was only able to amass 292 yards against the Cardinals last week while committing four turnovers. Matt Ryan has thrown for 2,223 yards and 14 touchdowns this season to lead the offense, but Harry Douglas is their leading active receiver. He has 35 catches for 489 yards.

In terms of Injuries, Carolina defensive end Charles Johnson (groin) and cornerback Josh Thomas (illness) are questionable. Atlanta tackle Sam Baker (knee) and receiver Roddy White (hamstring) are also questionable.
