Stafford Practices
Allen Park, MI – Matthew Stafford took part in the early part of Detroit Lions practice Tuesday as he continues to recover from a knee injury.

The rookie quarterback has missed Detroit’s past two games since getting hurt in a 48-24 loss against Chicago on Oct. 4. He missed more practice time last week before the Lions’ bye, but took the first snap in individual drills when the team returned to work Tuesday.
Daunte Culpepper, who left Detroit’s last game with a hamstring injury, also practiced, but wide receiver Calvin Johnson (knee) remained on the sidelines, playing catch with a Lions staffer.
The media is not allowed to watch the full-team portion of practice. Coach Jim Schwartz isn’t expected to give injury updates until later in the week.
Detroit (1-5) hosts St. Louis (0-7) on Sunday.
