NFL Week 8 Odds
Non-conference games dominate the Week 8 schedule in the NFL, although the Monday Night Football contents pits two division rivals against each other.
The highly anticipated Brett Favre vs. Green Bay matchup is on this week’s schedule. Favre’s Minnesota Vikings beat the Packers on Monday night a few weeks ago, but now the quarterback legend will head into Lambeau Field for the first time as a member of an opposing team. Oddsmakers have made the Packers 3-point favorites in this contest.
The game of the week is arguably on Monday night as the New Orleans Saints and their high-powered offense host the Atlanta Falcons. Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Saints 9-point favorites over their NFC South rivals to open the week.
There’s an intriguing AFC matchup in Baltimore this Sunday as the Denver Broncos and Ravens square off after each having their bye weeks. The Ravens opened as 4-point favorites, but that line has since dropped to Baltimore –3.5.
After suffering two straight losses, the San Francisco 49ers hope to pick up the pieces this week in Indianapolis when they face Peyton Manning and the Colts. Oddsmakers have made the Colts a whopping 11-point favorite despite the 49ers’ 3-3 record.
