GLENDALE, AZ (The Spread) – The Atlanta Falcons hope to win back-to-back games for the first time this season on Sunday when they face the Arizona Cardinals at 4:25PM ET on FOX.

Arizona is 3-4 overall, 2-1 at home and 4-3 against the spread. Atlanta is 2-4 overall, 0-2 on the road and 2-4 against the spread. The home team has won six straight in this series.

Trends show that Atlanta is just 1-4-1 against the spread in its last 6 road games. These two have hit the over in 8 of their last 10 overall meetings and in 5 straight meetings in Arizona.

Atlanta is coming off a 31-23 win over Tampa Bay last week at home. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Falcons. All four of Atlanta’s losses have come by 7 points or less. Despite a lot of injuries on offense, Matt Ryan has thrown for 1,922 yards and 13 touchdowns while Tony Gonzalez has 35 receptions for 369 yards and three touchdowns.

Arizona is coming off a 34-22 loss to the Seahawks last week. The Cardinals have now lost two straight, but by 12 points. Arizona is averaging 309.7 yards per game on offense while the defense is allowing 349.7 yards per game. Quarterback Carson Palmer has thrown for 1,741 yards and eight touchdowns, but also has 13 interceptions. Karlos Dansby is leading the defense with 62 tackles, 2.5 sacks and one interception.

In terms of Injuries, Arizona running back Rashard Mendenhall (toe) and linebacker Dan Giordano (toe) are both questionable. Atlanta running back Steven Jackson (hamstring) and receiver Roddy White (hamstring) are both questionable.
