DENVER, CO (The Spread) – The Denver Broncos looks to rebound from their first loss on Sunday when they host the Washington Redskins at 4:25PM ET on CBS.

Denver is 6-1 overall, 4-0 at home and 3-3-1 against the spread. Washington is 2-4 overall, 1-2 on the road and 2-4 against the spread. The home team has won four of the last six in this series.

Trends show that the road team has covered the spread in 4 of the last 5 in this series and Washington has covered in 4 of its last 5 against the Broncos. These two have hit the over in 4 of their last 5 meetings as well.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Denver is the clear favorite at home, as the Broncos have odds of -13 points against the Redskins. The over/under total for the game has been set at 58.5 points (View Matchup). The opening odds for this game had the Broncos favored by 14 points. The spread slowly fell back to 13 during the week. The over/under total opened at 56.5 points before making the climb up to 58.5.

Denver is coming off a 39-33 loss to the Colts on the road last week. It was the first loss for Denver this season. The Broncos were held to 429 yards and Peyton Manning was sacked four times in the loss. The team also had three turnovers. Despite the loss, Denver is still averaging 469.3 yards per game on offense, but giving up just under 400 yards per game on defense. Manning has thrown for 2,565 yards and 25 touchdowns with only three interceptions. Eric Decker and Demaryius Thomas have combined for 83 receptions for 1,237 yards and eight touchdowns.

The Redskins are coming off a 45-41 win at home over Chicago last week. The offense has shown some signs of improvement over the last two weeks, thanks to Robert Griffin III starting to incorporate more rushing into this game. RG3 now has 1,746 passing yards with eight touchdowns while rushing for 233 yards. The Washington defense has struggled this year, but Ryan Kerrigan has picked up 5.5 sacks. As a team, Washington is giving up 389 yards per game.

In terms of Injuries, Denver tackle Orlando Franklin (leg) and running back C.J. Anderson (knee) are both questionable. Washington linebacker Brandon Jenkins (ankle) and receiver Leonard Hankerson (foot) are also questionable.
