New York Jets DFS Spin
Zach Wilson completed 19-of-32 passes for 192 yards with an interception in the Jets’ Week 5 loss to the Falcons. Wilson took a step back after throwing for 297 yards and two touchdowns in a win over the Titans. It’s the second time in three weeks he’s thrown for under 200 yards and he’s been held touchdownless in all but two games. Wilson’s supporting cast and offensive line are among the worst in the league. There’s not much to be bullish on with Wilson right now but the Jets remain confident in his long-term outlook. Wilson and the Jets take on the Patriots when they return from a Week 6 bye.
New England Patriots DFS Spin
Mac Jones completed 15-of-21 passes for 229 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the Patriots’ 35-29, Week 6 overtime loss to the Cowboys. Although the yards were Jones’ fewest since Week 2, the two-touchdown effort was just his second. 75/1 of Jones’ production came on a stunning 75-yard touchdown strike to Kendrick Bourne with 2:11 remaining. Bourne used a double move to get by Trevon Diggs, and Jones did not miss as the safety arrived too late. The score came mere seconds after Diggs victimized Jones for what could have been a game-sealing pick six. Jones was too high to Bourne over the middle of the field, and Diggs made him pay. Jones has shown more good than bad as he game manages for a rebuilding team, but it is not translating to streamer value in fantasy. That being said, the Jets are a mouthwatering superflex matchup for Week 7.
