NASHVILLE, TN (The Spread) – Division rivals will clash in Tennessee this Sunday when the Titans host the Colts at 1:00PM ET.
INDIANAPOLIS: The Colts continued their roller coaster ways in 2012 by beating the Browns 17-13 at home as a 1-point favorite. Indy has alternated between wins and losses since Week 1, and is now 3-3 on the season. The Colts are also 3-3 against the spread as Andrew Luck has thrown for 1,674 yards and Reggie Wayne has a team-high 666 receiving yards. When the Colts have won, they’ve also covered. When they’ve lost, they haven’t. They’re 3-3 against the number and the over is 3-3 in their first six games.
TENNESSEE: The Titans shocked the Bills last Sunday when Matt Hasselbeck found Nate Washington on a 15-yard touchdown pass with just over a minute remaining in the game. Tennessee eventually held on for 35-34 victory and has now won two straight games. Hasselbeck completed 22-of-33 passes in the contest for 205 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions, while running back Chris Johnson finally broke out for 195 yards and two touchdowns. Washington finished with six catches for 43 yards with the one lone score. After starting the season 1-4 the Titans are now 3-4 overall and 3-4 against the spread. In each of their last two weeks they’ve covered as 5.5-point and 4-point underdogs.
ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Titans are 3.5-point favorites over the Colts, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 46.5 points. The Colts enter this game with a straight up record of 3-3 and are 3-3 against the spread, while the Titans are 3-4 straight up and 3-4 ATS.
TRENDS: The under is 12-2 in the last 14 meetings between these two teams and 5-2 in the last seven meetings in Tennessee. The home team is also 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings between these two teams while the Colts are 1-5 against the spread in their last six trips to Tennessee.
