Giants vs. Falcons Total Prediction
The New York Giants and Atlanta Falcons will wrap up Week 7 in the NFL tonight for Monday Night Football. With the total sitting in the low 50s, will these two teams combine for enough points to push the score over the total?
Game Snapshot
475 New York Giants at 476 Atlanta Falcons

Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, GA
Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Falcons are 4-point favorites to beat the Giants. The total, meanwhile, sits at 52.5 points. As of this writing, 71% of the public betting tickets are on the Falcons to cover the point spread.
New York Giants
Evan Engram (knee) has been removed from the Week 7 injury report. This was expected after Engram practiced fully. He was close to playing in Week 6, so he should be close to 100 percent coming off a mini-bye. Engram is in a great spot against a bottom-three Falcons pass defense that gave up touchdowns to O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate last week.
Atlanta Falcons
Calvin Ridley (ankle) wasn’t listed on the Week 7 injury report. The Falcons also removed Mohamed Sanu (hip) from the injury report. Both wideouts were limited in Saturday’s practice. It’s a best-case scenario with Atlanta playing on Monday night. We like Ridley at an upside FLEX against the Giants.
NFL Betting Trends
New York
The under is 9-4 in the Giants’ last 13 games overall.
Atlanta
The over is a perfect 5-0 in the Falcons’ last five games overall.
Prediction
While the Falcons will be relatively healthy offensively as both Ridley and Mohamed Sanu are slated to play, Atlanta’s defense remains in disarray. Deion Jones, Ricardo Allen and Keanu Neal are all on injured reserve. The Giants struggled offensively last week at home versus the Eagles but they should rebound against this banged-up Atlanta defense, a unit that rates 29th in yards allowed, 29th in passing yards allowed, 23rd in rushing yards allowed, and second-to-last in points allowed at 32.0. This is one of the few defenses in the NFL that will make Eli Manning look good and we already know the Falcons can score at will, especially at home, where Matt Ryan often lights up the scoreboard.
Monday Night Football Total Prediction: Giants/Falcons over 52.5
